Our 2nd anniversary was filled with emotional highs and extreme lows. We were of course excited to be celebrating two years of marriage with a day on the boat and an evening at The National Harbor for dinner & drinks. My parents stopped by for the night on friday en route to Ocean City where my brother is living/working for the summer. Things quickly changed when news that my brothers best friend passed away unexpectidly during a training exercise at West Point :( Thoughts and prayers for Jacob's family and friends continue to consume my mind. Such a wonderful character with a bright future left this world too soon. So as we rolled into our third year of marriage, we did so with heavy hearts.
I am such a lucky lady :)
